HIGH-END & LOW-END PACKAGING

Campaign Overview

Kenti Health World is a company that is focusing on producing beverages and cosmetics that benefit human health. They want to create a low-end brand and a high-end brand for these products to serve different market segments. With the low-end brand, they need the packaging for daily juices, tea, shampoo, conditioner, and facial cleanser. With the high-end brand, they need the packaging for high-quality cosmetics such as hair growth cream, skin lotion, perfume, moisturizer face cream, and high-quality diet juice. 

Sketching and Identifying products

Based on researching, I sketched some products for my low-end brand and high-end brand.

Logo Roughs

Based on the products are sketched, I chose an appropriate name for my low-end and high-end product. I decided to choose the health care products and cosmetics to keep working on my project. Eternal life is my low-end brand and Revive is my high-end brand.

Digital Logo

After getting some feedback, I chose rough 6 of low-end brand to develop a digital version. On the other hand, I combined some roughs of high-end brand to create a unique digital logo for it.

After getting more feedback, I adjust my low-end logo a little bit for it to look more perfectly. On the other hand, I do not change anything for my high-end logo.

Pattern Designs

I had a long time to think about how to convey exactly my concepts to customers. I decided to use pattern designs for both low-end and high-end packaging. Below is two pattern designs that are made by me. I use the leaves pattern for the low-end brand and the cherry blossom tree for the high-end brand.

Leaves represent green and healthy life. The cherry blossom tree brings a special meaning to the high-end brand. Cherry blossom (Sakura) is a famous flower in Japan. It represents a time of renewal and short life. In my pattern designs, some cherry blossoms are blooming on withered branches. Through all these, the brand would like to convey to customers: “Immortality does not exist. Youth, beauty, and health will be eroded over time. Flower can revive on withered branches of trees, why we cannot? We are here to help you to be reborn one more time.”
